DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY
 
The Department has had consistently good result always. Environment studies are coming up in a big way and the subject has become most relevant in today’s concerns regarding depleting plant cover and resources. Quite a lot of students are absorbed in local schools as TGTs. Some students train for Technical Jobs as researchers. We plan to introduce more job- oriented and multidisciplinary courses to meet the changing needs of our students.
